Dutch sensations Nicky Romero and Apster create “Bootcamp” which incorporates sausage fattening beats and greasy sounds to create an electro-acid house hybrid track that is sure to hit a dance floor near you. At around 2:07 you get thrown a curvebal
l with a progressive bassline and synth heavy build up a la Alesso. This is definitely a darker sound for Apster who is usually heavy on the playful bl33py drops such as his work on “Music Oh” and his “Give Me Everything” remix. Nicky’s second appearance on Afrojack’s Wall Recordings is sure to be a heater, which leads us to the question – has Wall or Steve Angello’s Size Records been releasing more quality tunes since their inception?
