Tiesto releases ‘Maximal Crazy’ track and video, snags Billboard’s cover story this month too
Flashback to Ultra Music Festival 2011 when Tiesto first premiered “Maximal Crazy” during his closing set on that Friday evening. The Miami Heat had just beaten the 76ers (no surprise there), you could see people exiting the American Airlines arena standing at the top of the steps (and going crazy) trying to catch a glimpse of Tiesto’s performance. Here’s thing, everyone who knew anything about house music (in the Miami area) was at Ultra that weekend. We can assume these people probably weren’t the most avid of EDM fans, however when you saw them go crazy you knew shit was going down.
House music — and Tiesto — are now like a fast spreading epidemic, if you haven’t listened to it/him you have been enclosed to a confined room your entire life, the only way to get out of this box is to go “Maximal Crazy.” The video above was shot at EDC Vegas earlier this summer. He’s also on the cover of this month’s Billboard magazine, and is playing the largest single-headliner DJ show ever in North America in just a few weeks. The guy is a legend.
