Hardwell – Cobra (Official Energy Anthem 2012)
Coming off his own Revealed records, Hardwell justly named “Cobra” the Official Energy Anthem of 2012. Related to his last two originals “The World” and “Encoded, “Cobra” exhibits Hardwell’s power driven synths that give the track its anthemic boundaries. Adding his recent style to the mix, the drop at 2:00 offers raging bass lines and infectious drum lines. If you are a fan of Hardwell’s surging fierce bass lines, it would probably behoove you to listen to his remix of “Louder,” which has a similar flavor. 2010-2011 may have been Hardwell’s breakthrough year, but with his recent output of tracks like “Beta” and remixes to “Ready 2 Go,” “Boy,” and “Stars,” moving forward, Hardwell is on track to comfortably surpass his already outstanding accomplishments, boosting his reputation to exciting new levels.
