Michael Woods ft. Duvall – Last Day On Earth (Original Mix)
Woods’ gave us his remix of Armin Van Buuren’s “Youtopia” right before Thanksgiving. After we stuffed ourselves, Michael comes back with one more course that is sure to put us on our ass. “Last Day On Earth” features the pristine vocals of Duvall whose voice radiates throughout the entirety of the track. Put this on repeat, because something like this only gets with every listen. You can just tell that this was engineered at the highest quality, every detail was accounted for before the release. We could continue this bromance, but we feel that the sooner you hear this song the faster you will become a believer.
BONUS: Michael Woods ft. Duvall – Last Day On Earth (Jaz Von D Remix)
Jaz Von D’s version has a deeper sound than the original mix. The pulsing bassline (towards the end of the track) is reminiscent of Deniz Koyu and Johan Wedel’s remix of “Dangerous.” The chopped up vocals add a nice touch that complements the dark sound. While we are still partial to the original mix – this is also worth a listen or 20.
