To accompany its February 9th article on Grammy nominee and dubstep heavyweight Skrillex, the Daily Beast tried to get the DJ to talk on video, to no avail. So, instead of interviewing Skrillex himself, director Jacob Septimus went “in search of Skrillex” (nice Tiesto reference!). The mag interviewed a host of industry people and other artists – Caspa and Zedd make appearances – about the dubstep DJ’s appeal and his shot at the Grammys. There’s not much info that us longtime Skrillex fans don’t know here, but it’s still nice to hear people raving about him nonetheless.
