Martin Solveig took the Ultra Main Stage promptly at 5:40 and it was a bootleg of his track “Ready 2 Go” with Hardwell’s “Spaceman” that really got the set going. This song has proven to be a huge crowd pleaser, and it led perfectly into “We Found Love” — to which the crowd (unsurprisingly) sung every word. He quickly transitioned to his own pop track, “Big In Japan,” which was well-received by the group. As the set progressed, the vibe got more and more electro, with tracks like the Bingo Players’ “Rattle” keeping the crowd happy as he got into even heavier songs.  He played the Skrillex and Wolfgang Gartner collaboration, “The Devil’s Den” before an unknown remix of “Somebody That I Used To Know” with a good amount of whompage.” He changed up the pace a little bit with Swedish House Mafia’s “Greyhound,” and Arty’s “Trio.” Overall it was a fun set from the quirky Frenchman, with a solid variety of tracks and, of course, the signature headband.
