2012 DJ Mag Tech Awards opens voting to the public, gives away tons of tech

The annual DJ Mag Top 100 DJs and Top 100 Clubs are voted on by the people, but the DJ Tech Awards have historically been chosen by a panel of judges. This year, however, voting is open to anyone with a Facebook account, and two-minute videos are meant to make the decision easier. There are 16 categories in all, and most people voting are probably not remotely qualified to choose a winner. Still, to entice would-be voters, DJ Mag has a solid prize package including an SSL Nucleus Desk, pair of KRK Rockit Studio Monitors, keyboard, Cubase 6, Native Instruments Maschine and Komplete 8, Numark 4Trak, Allen & Heath XD53-2 headphones — and supposedly there will be even more added. Voting ends August 1st, so click over to Facebook if you want a chance at the prize.
