EDC New York extended to 3 days, more tickets on sale Thursday at Noon EST
It’s the first Electric Daisy Carnival to hit the Northeast ever and it isn’t technically even in New York, but EDC NY is already bigger than originally planned. Pacha NYC has just announced that the event will now be taking place over three days — just like Ultra Music Festival — instead of the originally planned two. It all goes down May 18, 19, and 20th at MetLife Stadium — and as if that wasn’t good enough, there’s a new crop of tickets up for sale to go along with the additional day. The next round will go on sale Thursday April 12 at 12 noon ET to the general public. However, those who have already purchased 2-day passes will be able to buy passes for the additional day starting on Wednesday — one day before everyone else. We could not have imagined a more incredible response when we decided to bring Electric Daisy Carnival to New York. Our first allotment of tickets sold out within just a few hours so we went back to the drawing board to create an even bigger festival experience that more fans could enjoy! Not only have we expanded our daily capacity to accommodate more fans, we have also added an additional day.The festival dates are now Friday, May 18, Saturday, May 19 & Sunday May 20, 2012.
Tickets for all three days go back ON SALE THIS THURSDAY, April 12 at 12 noon ET (9am PT). If you have already purchased a 2-day pass, you will have a special limited-time opportunity to purchase a Friday pass on Wednesday before the public on-sale on Thursday. Details will be emailed to you.
