Treat yourself to some free moombahcore, download Chase & Status – Hitz (Dillon Francis Remix)
The only disappointing thing about Dillon Francis’ recklessly aggressive moombahton remix of Chase & Status’ “Hitz” is that he’s dropped Tinie Tempah’s lyrics in favor of pure electro overload. Tinie’s flow on the original mix was smooth and stylish, but DillFran has gone in a new direction entirely, opting for a harsher, edgier sound that’ll delight electro and moombahton fans alike. “Moombahcore” is the hyper-technical definition for tracks like this, and “Hitz” falls neatly between Diplo & Skrillex’s “Amplifire” and Dillon Francis and Kill the Noise’s “Dill the Noise” in the young subgenre’s growing catalog.
