EDC NY Day 2 photos: the most memorable moments caught on camera

We took no shortage of photos at EDC NY day two, and combing through them has reminded us of some of the best moments of the day. We’ve selected a bunch of our favorites from day two and are rounding them up for you here. Between Michael Woods taking iPhone videos in the middle of his set, Erick Morillo rocking a custom Giants jersey, and oversized cassette tape headgear, there’s a whole lot to see. We’ve selected a smattering of our choices here, but all of our photos will be available in a more extensive album on Facebook soon.

When Michael Woods took a video on his iPhone — while standing on the Main Stage DJ booth.

When Erick Morillo arrived at the Size Matters stage in his custom NY Giants jersey.

When CAZZETTE debuted their new headgear.

When we tried to break into Avicii’s trailer. (But not really.)

When Thomas Gold killed it at the Size Matters stage.

When Calvin Harris didn’t smile. Why so serious?

When Alesso joined Sebastian Ingrosso on stage for “Calling.” (Editor’s Note: Bonus shot here.)

When there were creepy mime / clown people on stilts.

When Avicii took the Kinetic Field by storm in front of a bajillion people.

When Steve Angello headlined inside the stadium.

When Carl Cox performed one of the top sets of the day.

When Armin closed out the ASOT tent with a set that dwarfed the one he closed with on Friday.

Check out the rest of our photos on Facebook — we’ll be updating throughout the week.

  1. One of the most memorable moments in my opinion was when ATB played Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. No one expected it, and the crowd went absolutely nuts. So much fun to be surprised like that.

  2.  He always plays either that or Ramstein; it’s just a matter of when :). In my opinion his set simply dominated, I mean just the way he can control the crowd is incredible

  3. Calvin’s set was great, but the fact that he looked angry/bored the ENTIRE time really turned me off.

  4. Sebastian stole the show on Saturday. His set was INSANELY good and near flawless. Avicii was solid as always, just too long of a build up after an already long day. Anybody catch Gareth Emery? I saw him in Miami @ SPACE and he KILLED it there. Hope you all enjoyed EDC as much as we did :)
