Exclusive: EDC NY grounds revealed at MetLife Stadium
Though EDC NY doesn’t officially kick off until today at 4PM, when has that ever stopped us from getting a leg up on the festival preparation. Just like at Ultra Music Festival, we stopped by MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey — yes, that’s technically not New York — to check out the preparation for the northeast’s first EDC to show you what you’re in for. In addition to four huge stages, there’s a plethora of carnival rides, including a ferris wheel (that’s on the smaller side in our opinion), and a bunch of other attractions that will make this more of a “carnival” and less of just a “rave.” Click through below to see all the photos, and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments!
PS: We tried to get inside the stadium to see the Cosmic Meadow, but some things are better left as secrets.
If the Circuit Grounds tent looks familiar, that’s because it is basically identical to the ASOT tent at Ultra. (And it happens to be the ASOT tent on Saturday of EDC NY as well.)
