Deadmau5 releases “The Veldt” music video, channels The Lion King

With the release of The Veldt EP yesterday, Deadmau5 wastes no time in releasing an animated video for the title track. The video starts off with two kids walking through a door, onto” the Veldt,” an open, uncultivated country or grassland. The two then venture through this grassland, climbing and running around in a manner that gives us flashbacks to The Lion King. Apparently if you actually read “The Veldt” which is a short story by the late Ray Bradbury, it makes a lot more sense.
