Pendulum call it quits, shifts focus to Knife Party

In unfortunate news to drum and bass fans all over the world, the 10 year stint of legendary group Pendulum has come to an end.  Rob Swire and fellow band member Gareth McGrillen, who started Knife Party last year as a electro side project, have seen great success with their acclaimed EPs and have decided to shift their focus on the prospering venture.  When talking about Knife Party, Swire stated, “we’re having too much fun with this project. It’s also great because Pendulum towards the end sort of felt like we were doing it because we had to and that’s never a fun way to do music.”

Their debut 100% No Modern Talking EP was given away as a free download and jump-started a fast growing fan base. Just a few weeks ago they released a follow up EP dubbed Rage Valley, and it has been climbing the Beatport Electro charts ever since.
