iHeart Radio Music Festival adds Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris, & Deadmau5

Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris, and Deadmau5 will be among the pop acts performing at this year’s iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas. These dance music heavyweights will join the likes of Taylor Swift, Aerosmith, and Linkin Park in what’s being dubbed “the Biggest Live Music Event in Radio History.” This of course, is just another sign of electronic music’s growing American status. Last year’s line-up featured only one electro act — David Guetta. The concert, which sold out in 10 minutes, will stream live on Clear Channel’s web and mobile webcast. Update: (August 2) Rolling Stone says that the iHeartRadio show will be Swedish House Mafia’s “final U.S. gig.” So much for hopes of a return for one more US tour…
