We caught a glimpse of Amon Tobin’s live show, ISAM, earlier this year in the desert and were blown away by his visual production. ISAM 2.0 has finally been revealed — and it is bigger and better than before. The production takes the viewer through a physical journey through the last frontier. The Brazilian producer dons an astronaut suit as he transports the audience through his unpredictable lights and sounds. Visual productions of this caliber such as Richie Hawtin’s Plastikman Live and Deadmau5’s Professional Griefers, only further solidify electronic music in today’s music ecosystem. Although we do love the intimacy of underground shows, we can only hope that more artists embrace the creation of a comprehensive experience as the rise of electronic music allows more freedom for experimentation. The upgraded 2.0 will be touring this fall, so don’t miss out on a chance to experience his show at least once. Get your tickets here.
