Two artists who remain in the spotlight, both representing different subgenres, may be joining forces to form electronic music’s biggest side project. We are talking about dubstep poster boy Skrillex, who can’t seem to stay out of the headlines, and acid house maestro Boys Noize, who has recently announced his upcoming album.
The reported super-producer tag-team will be dubbed Dogblood, and will be experimenting with genres for a sound that has been referred to as ‘300% break-acid-tech-noise.’ The first release from Dogblood will be an EP with the tracks “Middle Finger” and “Next Order,” set to drop on both Boys Noize Records and OWSLA this month. Sure to be something special, let us know what you think about two of electronic music’s power players uniting for Dogblood.

At Bisco, Skrillex played a bunch of acidy sounding tracks. I knew something was up. Boys Noize can not do anything bad so this may actually be good.
Holy. Shit.
Boys Noize is such an amazing artist and brings flavour to Skrilex otherwise boring sound.
Holy. Shit.
Boys Noize is such an amazing artist. Breathes life into Skrillex’ insanely monotone sound.
um, whoa.
alex, why? ..just… why?
Both tracks are already on YouTube on this user’s channel. Personally, I expected a lot more from Skrillex. They sound like regular Boys Noize tracks with very minimal Skrillex influence:

In the video isnt it just the labels that have been shown? BNR and OWSLA? Could be two producers from the two labels roster?! Saying that, Boys Noize and Skrillex collab would tear it up!
This shit went off at Tomorrowland…
And thank god Skrillex didn’t interfere more with the tracks.
Very good, but we really need more from “Handbraekes”.
