Swanky Tunes are collaborating with Spinnin Records to form a label of their own. The Russian producers will launch Showland on September 3rd with the release of their own “Blood Rush.” The latest outing from the world of Swanky Tunes features the hard-hitting progression and hypnotizing synths, similar to previous efforts like “The Edge.” With a new label comes new music, so get ready for the duo to shell out some supported tunes when Showland debuts with “Blood Rush” next month.

There are plenty of labels that can represent you, especially if you’re already a known name, like Swanky Tunes. They’re already well known and I bet they have plenty of labels calling them for releases and what not. They simply don’t need their own label. It’s just a jungle now. What’s wrong with the labels that already excist?
It’s for monetary purposes. Why split the pie when you can have the whole pie for yourself?

I don’t even see why they have to (although I certainly like when they do). Why should I have to give half of my money to a label?
Labels made sense back in the day because you needed the equipment. Now you can produce in your bedroom, it’s a different game. Now they just provide a name to vouch for you and maybe a little promotion?
