Sensation America lineup announced, includes Mark Knight, Fedde Le Grand, Dennis Ferrer, and more
The highly anticipated Sensation America lineup has finally been announced. The event is coming to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 26 and 27, featuring different acts on each day. Mr. White, Sensation’s host and warm-up DJ, will be performing both nights alongside Fedde Le Grand. Friday’s bill consists of Dennis Ferrer, Joris Voorn, and Nic Fanciulli, and Saturday will have Mark Knight, Danny Tenaglia, and 2000 and One.
Mr. White is Sensation’s host and has been offering warm-up music for the event for quite some time. With his subtle tech house grooves, he knows how to set the mood and create the perfect vibe. Accomplished house DJ, Fedde Le Grand — who has played in over 25 Sensation events — takes the driver’s seat for both nights. Friday also consists of house veteran Dennis Ferrer, who made a massive breakthrough with the release of “Hey Hey,” and Sensation regulars Joris Voorn and Nic Fanciulli, who have been known to play some of the best back-to-back sets around.
Saturday’s lineup hosts tech house master Mark Knight, who has headlined Sensation events all over the world and can truly rock a crowd of any size. Knight will be joined by legend Danny Tenaglia, who has experienced the rise of house music in New York first hand, and will undoubtedly know how to play to the crowd best. Joining Knight and Tenaglia is techno old-timer 2000 and One, who has offered a perfect blend of house and techno to past Sensation events, and will offer something of the same sort to the American debut.
With festivals like Electric Zoo and EDC New York including mainly the usual suspects on their lineups, it’s nice to see ID&T staying true to themselves in presenting the authentic Sensation experience. By offering the perfect blend between underground acts and well-known names, organizers at ID&T have taken their time to craft a soundtrack for the night — more than just a lineup of big-name DJs.

Update: Billboard also has an article up about the lineup, with quotes from LiveNation’s Jason Miller and ID&T CEO Duncan Stutterheim. According to Miller: “[With this lineup], I see a cohesive, progressive sound that sets the general feeling that we’re going for, and supports the brand that we’ve been so careful to introduce into the marketplace.”
