Maor Levi transforms trance with progressive and dubstep rhythms

Maor Levi is an up-and-coming trance producer who grew up creating music in his bedroom at the age of 12. Heavily influenced by the trance-heavy 90s dance scene in Israel, Maor’s sound has trappings across the full spectrum of trance subgeneres, deriving much of his influence from the psy-trance and goa he listened to as a kid. He cites his main inspiration as Infected Mushroom who he describes  as; “out of this world with their sound and the wizardry of their production.” However, Maor’s sound is anything but traditional trance, with a production style that runs the full gamut of electronica his sound becomes a genre all its own. Creating his productions in FL Studio 10, Maor seamlessly combines trance with elements of dubstep, progressive and tech house to create an airy — but powerfully energetic — aesthetic to every track he touches.

Currently signed to Anjunabeats,  Maor has worked with Above & Beyond, Mark Knight, Armin Van Buuren, Funkagenda and more with some big collaborations lined up for the future. His debut radio show MOAR BASS is an expansive journey through countless dance music genres, from the trance-y EDX “Touched” to the gritty electro of Dada Life’s latest “Bass Don’t Cry” Maor leaves no genre behind.
