Minnesota teases trip hop-flavored dubstep with ‘To the Floor’

Santa Cruz producer Minnesota is known for his clean and cosmic dubstep productions. After immaculately remixing Adventure Club’s “Need Your Heart,” Minnesota has previewed “To the Floor,” the first song off of his upcoming Altered States EP. The futuristic, groove-laden production has a mesmerizing trip hop vibe; it’s damn near impossible to not bob your head to its deep bass and warped vocal sample.
Altered States EP will be released on November 23 as a free download. If “To the Floor” is any indication for the EP’s direction, you can expect more soul-soothing, mind-elevating dubstep.
