RAC celebrates early success with incredible Chapter One album

The Remix Artist Collective (RAC) has been pleasing the indie and dance music communities since 2007, but we’re only just now being given the chance to look back on some of the lovely tunes birthed by members Andre Anjos, Andrew Maury, and Karl Kling over the last several years with the release of their Chapter One remix compilation album. The group explains the title of the album as representative of the first chapter of their career, indicating there may be much, much more to come.

RAC includes their remixes for tracks like Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros’ “Home,” Washed Out’s “New Theory,” and Ra Ra Riot’s “Boy” — just to name a few DA favorites. The trio’s first release, a remix for The Shins’ “Sleeping Lessons,” is even featured on the retrospective compilation. In our minds, every single track on this bad boy is worth at the very least a listen and more likely a full-on dance party. It is obvious these dudes know how to twist and mold a track into its most playful and danceable form. We’ve got even more good news for you; the entire album is available for streaming on their Soundcloud page. Check out all of the tracks and stream it after the break.
