Sonar Festival, formally titled an International Festival of Advanced Music and New Media Art, has announced its first of many acts to be featured in its 20th anniversary celebration in 2013. So far, we know the festival, starting in February, will be featuring stops in Reykjavik, Cape Town, Tokyo, São Paulo, and rounding it out in Barcelona in June as usual.

Some (but not all) of the stops on the festival will include exciting new audiovisual shows from the legends Kraftwerk and Pet Shop Boys, as well as performances from Hot Natured, Todd Terje, James Blake, Modeselektor, Simian Mobile Disco, Squarepusher, and Thugfucker.
