Andrea Bertolini – Ready for Another Night
On his second artist album, Andrea Bertolini delivers music that could simultaneously make Eric Prydz smile and progressive house pretenders wilt. The prolific Italian producer has quietly built a transnational following on the merits of his complex progressive tracks, such as last year’s stellar “Blue Ocean,” and sonic versatility, exemplified by electro-inspired collaborations with Boosta and an upcoming album with Turin band Motel Connection.
Ready for Another Night is no exception. The twelve-track album, which Bertolini told Dancing Astronaut was inspired by his travels to such locales as Brazil and India, showcases the diversity of his compositional talents in full force. Standouts include the big-room-ready “Pride” and “Bounce of Future Sound,” a groove-driven departure from his common chords and melodies.
