Remix duties are nothing new to Russian production/DJ squad, Swanky Tunes, but the next task on their agenda comes from a foreign genre. That is Matchbox Twenty’s pop rock single “Put Your Hands up” — and the trio takes their turn with full force. Matching the vibe, Swanky Tunes use their uplifting production tools to swap rock elements for electronic ones, surrounding Rob Thomas’s vocal with anthemic synths and crashes. Adding even more value to this remix package is burgeoning Dutch producer Ludovika, who comes at us with both a Day and Night remix — two tracks that oscillate between laying down a harder electro take and bouncier synth-pop rework.
