Zeds Dead release eclectic Holiday Mix, with 29 tracks in 50 minutes
Right in time for Christmas and New Years Eve, Canadian dubstep duo Zeds Dead have unleashed a colossal ‘Holiday Mix,’ jam-packed with their own originals and favorite cuts from the year. In the same fashion as their live show, Zeds Dead run through tracks at a blistering pace, covering 29 tracks of electro house, drum ‘n’ bass, dubstep and more in just 50 minutes. Aside from their heavier, well-known dubstep originals, Zeds Dead showcase their penchant for lesser-played genres such as tribal dance, trap and reggae. On the whole, ‘Holiday Mix’ is a lesson in creative, risky mixing, which, when done correctly, can be infinitely more entertaining than standard kick-snare outro transitions.
