Grandtheft caught our attention with his remix Calvin Harris‘ infamous “Sweet Nothing” alongside Diplo last year. The 2012 hit, featuring the soulful vocals of Florence Welch, received reworks from the likes of Tiesto and Qulinez, but Diplo and Grandtheft’s trap rendition stole the spotlight. Now the Canadian producer is back at it, giving listeners another remix driven by the pitch-down drum kicks of trap.

His latest remix is a rework of A-Trak and Tommy Trash‘s “Tuna Melt,” and was released after the Fool’s Gold head honcho — A-Trak — reached 300k twitter followers Friday. Grandtheft’s remix of the already grinding electro track tones down the tempo, before slapping listeners in face with hip-hop infused bass drops. A complete turn around from the original, the “Tuna Melt” remix  is another huge output from the rising producer.
