Eric Prydz announces new ‘Black Dice’ residency at the Wynn Las Vegas
Our recently crowned #1 artist of 2012, Eric Prydz, has just announced his new dual residency at Surrender and XS in Steve Wynn’s Wynn and Encore Las Vegas hotels, respectively. He’s calling it “Black Dice,” and attributes choosing the name of the residency as both an homage to Las Vegas (and the “thrill of the gamble”) and trying something a bit different in the American club scene.
If anyone is well-suited to push onto Americans the sights and sound of the European club scene and present edgier and darker concepts, it’s Eric Prydz. Dance music in America is evolving and it looks like Las Vegas is jumping on the bandwagon for the next phase too. Prydz debuts the new residency February 9th at Surrender and follows up on March 8th at XS.
