There have been numerous rumors surrounding the two dance pioneers as of late. In the past year we’ve heard leaks about a possible Coachella 2013 headlining spot, whispers about in-studio time with Giorgio Moroder and some jam sessions with jazz legend Nile Rodgers. Nile continues to fan the flames of the Daft Punk rumor mill with his latest blog post claiming that;

“The next time I set foot in Japan, my collaboration with Daft Punk would have started to hit people’s eardrums.”

With all the rumors surrounding the enigmatic duo in the last few months and support from someone as reputable as Nile Rodgers, it seems more and more likely that we will be seeing new Daft Punk material in the new year.
