EDX returns to the remix circuit with his charming rendition of Cazzette‘s “Weapon,” bringing back the ‘Acapulco At Night’ sound that he patented back in 2008 for his remix of Dubfire’s “Roadkill.” Softening up the original’s dub elements and big room bass line, EDX has toned down the production from a modern day anthem into something with a softer, more melody driven, persuasion. Encapsulated in melodic synth work and frothy white noise, EDX uses the ‘Acapulco At Night’ aesthetic to create a full-bodied and beautiful progressive house track that exemplifies his impeccable sense for subtle harmonies.
