Zeds Dead ‘Cowboy Remixes’ EP: UZ, Torro Torro and more

With its riveting guitar riffs, charged narrative, and fierce dubstep drop, “Cowboy” was easily one of the most charismatic tracks off Zeds Dead’s Living Dead EP. While Butch Clancy won the Beatport Play remix contest, Zeds Dead have released the official Cowboy Remixes EP on Ultra Records. Yesterday we brought you Congorock’s electro house rendition, but today you can scope the entire EP, which, in addition to Congorock’s work, boasts remixes from UZ, Torro Torro, and DC Breaks. Click past the break to hear all three.

The enigmatic UZ never fails to astound. His trap remix teases Omar Linx’s “never look back” sample, while riffing on the main “Cowboy” melody with effectual results.

Torro Torro have been on a tear recently. After successfully remixing Zedd’s “Clarity,” the duo have layered “Cowboy” with hectic, riotous synths.

Britain’s DC Breaks put a heavy drum ‘n’ bass spin on “Cowboy,” which, in comparison to the other remixes, feels a little more apt to Zeds Dead’s style.
