Clear Channel announces ‘Evolution 93.5 Miami,’ first live airing hosted by Pete Tong from Miami

After the announcements of UMFTV streaming all six days of Ultra, and UMF Radio bringing Miami Music Week coverage to Sirius XM, listeners can already experience the South Beach festivities from their laptops or cars. Clear Channel Media and Entertainment have taken another step in that direction with the launch of Evolution 93.5 Miami, a twenty four seven EDM-dedicated radio station that is slated to broadcast its inaugural live show from the All Gone Pete Tong party on March 22nd, hosted by Pete Tong himself.

Outside of Miami, the live broadcast will hit airwaves in Boston, on Evolution 101.7, and everywhere else on iHeartRadio’s Evolution. A few days later, on the 25th, Evolution will kick off its “All Gone Pete Tong” daily show, featuring four hours of chart-topping tracks and Pete’s Essential New Tunes beloved from his Essential Selections.

“I’ve been coming to Miami for over fifteen years to DJ and attend March’s Winter Music Conference and Ultra Week. It’s one of the most important dates in the DJ year, and the City of Miami has always been a special and progressive market for dance music. To be launching the second Evolution terrestrial station in Miami in March is amazing, and a real highlight of my career. I can’t wait for us to begin broadcasting Evolution and All Gone Pete Tong to this special city on a daily basis.” – Pete Tong
