M-3ox & Duher ft. AJB – Girls (Original Mix)
After resurrecting Afrojack’s 2009 release “Radioman,” Duher continued to establish himself with blistering progressive electro on the heavily supported “Rokit” and once again returns to production duties on “Girls.” Teaming up with Darren Strokes and Philip Larsen of M-3ox, the group employ AJB’s vocal stylings to create a club-friendly peak time progressive offering. When asked about the process behind the track, Duher explained how “Girls” was nearly complete before M-3ox sent him an unnamed original; “I listened to their tune and that melody, the chords were awesome! So, we combined the 2 tracks into one and that’s how we made it.”
AJB later hopped on board to lend his vocals, wrapping up the production with club-focused verses. Driven by punchy chordplay and AJB’s vocals, the track takes a startling turn when it drops, delivering a furious barrage of grizzly electro rattles and growls overtop an overly aggressive kick drum.
