Dutch duo Showtek are back in full force and doubling the fun with their latest release. Out now on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak imprint is the Crunk/Slow Down EP — an effort that shows that the producers still know how to raise hell through electro house. “Crunk” ratchets up the intensity, putting a slamming melody behind screaming lyrics that encourage the most fun kind of bad behavior. “Slow Down,” on the other hand, combines relentless beats, unsuspecting bridges and aggressive tones to change things up with a more instrumental offering. Definitely not lacking in energy, Showtek’s latest outing proves the brothers are full steam ahead.
