Steve Aoki has revealed his 2013 concept, “Neon Future,” as the theme to his Hakkasan residency and the title of his forthcoming album. In a recent interview, Steve opens up about the significance behind the name — behind the “colorful, exciting new world.” He prefaces the concept, explaining his recent experiments with technology, music, and biology — which intersect for the “Neon Future” aesthetic. Giving Hakkasan credit for allowing him such freedom, he goes on to claim that each Las Vegas performance will be in the lines of a play.
