When news surfaced that the classic house anthem FCL’s “It’s You” was getting a remix package, purists everywhere were struck with unease. For whatever reason, many people argue that some tracks should be left untouched; but leave it to the people of Defected Records to call upon the best of the best to re-imagine the track just ahead of the summer Ibiza season. Legendary electronic music act MK adds his own touch to the rework, looping the soulful vocal over a re-crafted bassline, with just the perfect amount of drive and bounce to set off any dance floor. The track is set to release May 20th on Defected.
