Responsible for the most sonic diversely remix of “Summertime Sadness,” Monsieur Adi works his magic on another female vocalist for “Julian.” Say Lou Lou’s pop vocals may not be as sultry as Lana Del Rey’s, but what they lack in blue-sy swooning they more than make up for in wisp-like enchantment. Complimenting the soft tone, Adi constructs a smooth underbelly in the mix with cloudy synths and orchestral string sections before moving into a stuttered and driving drum line.
