At the outset of an intense North American tour for MAKJ, the Californian up-and-comer drops a ferocious new remix for Belgian Dim Mak favorites Sound of Stereo and their 2009 offering “Zipper”. In an orgy of melodic digressions and rasping leads, the Belgian duos disjointed original is set on the straight an narrow courtesy of the young American’s knack for tasteful big room sounds with a considerable punch. There may be no shortage of electro-orientated talent on the peak time skyline, but his unapologetic stance over his craft sets yet higher precedents against the young producer’s name.
