Before Afrojack tackled the big room, his sound had a more minimal tinge, and his 2009 “Esther” was a pulsing eight-minute monster. Reawakened by  Buenos Aires’ HIIO, the tune received a few new layers, going from slithering to swinging with the help of an enhanced drum line. The duo wove gripping builds and a melodic break into the tech house sound, crafting a clean remix with an aptly titled 2013 spin. Definitely not the last we’ll hear from the South American pair, the track is available now on Beatport from Spinnin Star Music.
