Avicii and Nicky Romero’s ‘I Could Be The One’ receives an acoustic makeover

Sometimes the beauty and power of electronic top lines get lost in the endless cascades of synthetic noise and elevated drops that so often define the new wave of dance music. We’ve all heard “I Could Be The One” countless times in the past, but stripping out the flighty synthwork and replacing it with a delicate piano roll allows the vocals to take center stage, transforming the Avicii and Nicky Romero anthem into a pleasantly emotive experience.
Anyone who says there isn’t beauty in dance music is dead wrong and this acoustic rendition of “I Could Be The One” proves it.
