While most of the world slumbered last night, Deadmau5 popped up on SoundCloud with a new clip of a track he has been working on with Kat Von D called “Satellite.” This is not the first time his fiancée has appeared on his SoundCloud page — he posted a track she made for him with friend Danny Lohner back in February where she sang vocals over a rendition of “Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff” and Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game.” This is only the intro and first verse of  “Satellite,” but its classical orchestral sound sweeps up and down into a glitchy break with flavors of hip hop. It’s understated and smooth — can’t wait to hear the finished product.
