Ashley Pope and Tomek Naden, better known as NAPT, take on The Knocks’ latest indie dance release “Modern Hearts” with a hearty helping of disco funk. Warping the original into something nearly unrecognizable, the London-based duo use The Knocks’ vocal cut to piece together a robo-coated groover. Bringing together disco guitar licks, humming synthesis and punchy kicks and claps, NAPT’s take on “Modern Hearts” is genre transcendent and deliciously dance-able.
