Armin van Buuren to journey into space next year, will become one of the first Dutch astronauts

Two years ago, Armin van Buuren teamed up with Space Expedition Corporation to unveil a brand new space craft, The Lynx Static Prototype 1. The space craft has since been through testing, and finally, Armin will be one of the first astronauts to take it into space as he is set for a trip in 2014. The voyage will align Armin in the company of only three other Dutch-born astronauts, becoming one of the first to go from the Netherlands to space.

”For every DJ, it’s a dream to travel 3,5 times faster than their own sound! And then that deafening silence at 100 kilometers high. I can’t wait. I guess a 200 BPM heart rate is likely.”
