French progressive house upstart Florian Picasso follows up the release of “Artefact” with his his latest original “Love Generation.”  Driving the mix forward with peak time chord progressions and subtle vocal stutters, Picasso achieves anthemic levels of feel good electronica. Revamping Bob Sinclar and The Wailers original, Picasso swaps out the Jamaican dancehall vibes for youthful choral elements and big room synthwork. It may not be as bouncy as Sinclar’s 2006 smash hit, but for what it lacks in summer sex appeal it makes up for in peak time panache.
