Former Size Records manager forms Mode Group, new label for aspiring producers and DJs
Iyoas Assefa, former Size Records artist manager and developer has gone separate ways from Steve Angello to form his own project. Spawning Mode, a new label geared for upcoming artists, Iyoas will focus on developing rising talent that may have previously gone beneath his radar. Still working with youngsters Wayne & Woods, who are nearing the release of their highly-anticipated Henrix collaboration, “Jumangee,” Iyoas sees no boundaries for the young electronic talent that has yet to be recognized.
“I have always wanted to start my own management company And I felt the timing was right. I have a plan and a vision to as where I wanna take MODE Group. My number one focus right now is Wayne & Woods. I have some mode stuff to announce following that, which I’m super excited about.”
