Good Morning Mix – Porter Robinson Essential Mix (1/28/2012)
Just as Porter Robinson’s career was jetting off at the beginning of 2012, he released his debut Essential Mix recorded live from Hull City Music Hall, UK. Through erratic mixing, the 19-year-old combines at total of 32 tracks in little over an hour, including the first time the world heard “Language,” and favorites from his OWSLA-signed EP Spitfire like “Unison” and “100% in the Bitch.” Drawing in the sounds of dubstep-electro-moombahton to show of his musicality, this young American used this mix to kick off his 31-day European tour with Mat Zo and the M Machine while proving himself as a forced to be reckoned with.
