In an intimate interview with The Guardian, Kraftwerk’s Ralf Hütter discusses the band’s past, present and future. Going into great depth about Kraftwerk’s early years, Hütter discusses Autobahn, their ban from performing in China and his insistence that in an era where “pressing play” is always a cause for concern Kraftwerk continues to perform live with tons of gadgets at their disposal. The most interesting piece of information came when Hütter referenced the The Catalogue claiming that “Now this is done, one to eight. Now we can concentrate on number nine,” alluding to the often rumored ninth Kraftwerk album.
