Another day, another new upload to deadmau5’s Soundcloud. Say what you will about the outspoken producer’s attitude, but when it comes to sound engineering there are few electronic artists as talented as deadmau5. After previewing two new full length tracks less than two weeks ago, Joel does well on his promise to get ‘back to music,’ releasing the sinewy ‘Suite 02.’ Another deftly developed soundscape from the mau5, ‘Suite 02’ ebbs and flows in a melancholic arrangement of chimes and ethereal synthwork. It’s the type of pristine electronica that EDM has so sorely missed during its turn towards high energy festival fodder.
