Dog Blood hint at ‘Middle Finger’ sequel, reveal completion of new EP
Initially collaborating as Dog Blood one year ago, Skrillex and Boys Noize have since taken their aliance out of the studio and across the festival circuit. It appears the duo have finally returned to the production front, preparing a new EP to follow their two-track effort released last August. In their most recent Tweets, Dog Blood have revealed that their sophomore EP is complete, calling it “the best shit we be done yet” and using the hashtag “#middlefinger2,” perhaps signifying the official sequel to Next Order/Middle Finger.

Update: Dog Blood’s own hints and EP announcement could be related to the below image. Nest, OWSLA’s subscription service, indicates the release of an unknown EP Tuesday, August 6th. All signs point to a Dog Blood EP bearing their sequel to “Middle Finger,” as showcased in Skrillex’s Essential Mix. We’ll have to wait until next week to find out.
