Carefully toeing the line between indie dance and some form of deep house, the Bixel Boys continue to step into the limelight on the West Coast and beyond. Only a few short weeks after taking the stage at EDC Las Vegas’s Wide Awake Art Car, their latest release (and free download) is their first official remix — a Bixel take on Kate Boy’s “The Way We Are.” Kate Boy recalls flavors of electronic pop a la Depeche Mode, but the remix is far more dramatic and dance floor ready.
