Photographer remix slated as debut release from Armin van Buuren’s Who’s Afraid of 138 label
What went from an on-air joke to a track title to a stage name has now further developed into its own record label. Earlier this month Armin van Buuren announced he would be founding the Who’s Afraid of 138?! label to showcase uplifting trance in a time when the genre as a whole has made many concessions to progressive. With no other details than promising a home for the now-underground sound, the debut track has finally been revealed, and, underground rejoice, it is a Photographer remix. Fittingly it is the Photographer remix of Armin’s “Who’s Afraid of 138?!,” a tune debuted during Armin’s three-hour Essential Mix. Capturing the spirit of the WAO138 movement better than the title track itself, the remix will be released on Beatport on August 5th.
